p.s.: Pak Lah, terbaiknya kerenyek sahaja mereka.

Sebegini.

UPDATE Pertama:

Unibersiti. Monsoon Cup Regatta. Jambatan. Basmi kemiskinan. Islam Hadhari........... Hidup Melayu! Hidup Melayu! Hidup Melayu! Shafie yang ku cari.....

Ahh, sekarang baru aku faham sajak mu AJ. Kitalah pondan yang mengelat.

GONG XI FA CAI .......apa? Awal Muharram........? Bila?

Update ke-2:

"Ahhhh, jadi bingung aku.

Keng,
Notice the variety of ways people call you: Tok Keng, Abang Keng, Tuan Keng, Prof Datuk Dr Keng etc hehe

Btw perasan tak sorang lagi yg masih tak tarik balik memo tu siapa? Sepanjang pengamatan saya dia ni **** totok yang teramat anti******. Never trusted him!

Wonder why the second man made that warning to people :not to do things that may weaken the PM's credibilty. This statement itself pose as a strong hint to the said weakened credibilty! Notice how our politicians are so good with reverse psychology nowadays??

Your observtion is accurate. Peculiar of that tribe. Also of one of the senior guys among the signatories. The one that has the ugliest smile.
That was exactly my interpretation of the message. Take heed. Take heed. Hubaya, hubaya,....

Actually this is the first time i am reading your blog and if i were to guess, i'd say that you must have a legal background or something to come up with such an interesting insight on Article 121(1A). Anyway, i've studied the issues pertaining to the Moorthy or his Musim name Mohamad bin Abdullah and i feel that this issue must be tackled with utmost sensitivity for obvious reasons. For example, we must provide an avenue where Moorthy's wife, Kaliammal, can have her say, as we could see that the civil court had ruled that it cannot deal with teh issue on teh validity of teh conversion as it is within teh jurisdiction of the Syariah court... So, where is teh wife suppose to go? Who is going to hear her side of teh story? I am advocating this not so much out of concern towards the individual's right to be heard (although yes it is important) but for preserving the sanctity of Islam, so that people dont think that we do things arbitrarily. It is interesting to point out at this juncture that a syariah lawyer said that the Syariah court has an inherent power to adjudicate this matter and he further submitted that the non Muslims can have legal remedy in the syariah court on matters pertaining to conversion to Islam provided that they are willing to submit themselves to the jurisdiction of the syariah court.I dont think this contention has been tested in teh Syariah court. Wallahualam.

BTW 'the' is spelt as such and not as 'teh'. Kah, kah. Your fingers are faster than your thoughts. If I do sound like a lawyer then you a judge. Firstly welcome aboard Anon, Ms or Mr.?

Of course I agree with you that the opinions of Esprit de Corps is not comprehensive in that it is insinuating that you (the non-Muslims) have your court and I have mine. "To you your religion and to me mine." The function of the court is to deliver justice. And justice is the right of all. Thus in matters that involve both Muslims and non-Muslims, the non-Muslims should be given equal rights to present their cases in Shariah courts. However it shall never be allowed where decisions by shariah courts could be disputed or contested in civil courts.

In the glory days of the Uthmanniah or Ottomans, the sultans provided special courts for the dhimmis. However because of the efficiency of the courts and the judgments, many dhimmis such as the Orthodox Christians, requested for their cases to be heard before shariah judges.

BTW I am not a lawyer. Are you a judge?

First and foremost, i am not a judge and secondly, sorry about the spelling of "the". I saw the mistakes but thought, what the heck, a person like you wouldnt be bothered with something which is so trivial. Ha ha ha. Anyway, form over substance or substance over form? Something to ponder....
